Fatal Device Hardware Error on C: and F: (Need help ASAP please)

So starting a few days ago, I noticed that a few games were having a "Disk Write Error" when trying to update, I didn't know what was going on, so I just uninstalled them to get them out of my download tab (and reinstalled a few to my G: drive), but then more games started doing it, so I got confused and decided to go look at the folders in steamapps/common...well, come to find out, I get the screen in the picture whenever I try to enter the "common" folder in both my C: (main internal) and F: (first of my two external) drives, but not my G: (second of my two externals) drive.

The only things I can find with Google are people talking about the error on external drives, and only when it effects the entire drive, not just one specific folder.

So I'm wondering if anyone knows what is going on? Am I going to need to delete the Steam folders in question and redownload everything? Is there a sinple fix like defragging my drives? Am I just screwed?

This has me worried as all the stuff I found on Google had the same end of "HDD death", and if that's the case, that could mean my entire computer, as my C: drive is one of the drives effected.

There are 2 problems with that.
A) One of the affected drives is my C: drive, the drive with all my PC related stuff like the OS and drivers and stuff that makes the PC go in it.
And B) I don't have the ability to get new drives at this moment in time.

Well then, you’re screwed.

Replacing C: is highly important, if it does die you’ll lose everything!
