steam compatibility mode warning?
I'm getting a warning after the August 1st Steam client update whenever i launch it, to turn off the compatibility mode for it as it causes issues.
It's in the patch notes too. "Warn users when certain Windows compatibility mode flags are set on the Steam executable, and disable GPU accelerated rendering in web views by default if the user continues to run with those flags."

Only thing is, it's running normally, not in compatibility mode, no boxes are ticked. How do i get this warning to go away, is it a bug?

Right click Steam icon on your desktop and go to properties. You set any flags?

Nope. I guess it's just a bug, i asked the warning to not appear anymore...

Had the same error, no compatibility mode was active.

Same for me here. Never had this warning before, but after August 1 update I get it a lot. I have no flags set for compatibility mode on any of the Steam releated .exe files. (I was thinking that the Steam Client must launch some other .exe process which maybe had compatibility mode set; but I cannot find anything that would trigger this)

Turns out it's doing it for me because i have "run as administrator" ticked, when i unticked it, it didn't show.
