Can't See/Find Voice Settings in New Updated steam (2018)

after steam update, i can't find or locate the voice or in-game voice settings
my mic is fully working, my discord detects my mic but steam can't

Steam update functionally broke my game...

Try getting to the microphone settings via the friend list in steam and the gear emblem. Didn't work for me, but it might for you.

Same problem. Csgo isnt detecting my mic anymore. Restarting only works half the time but it's incredibly frustrating.

Try updating the drivers maybe ? I had the same problem with hyperx cloud as my headset and when i upgraded the windows sound and hyperx driver it worked flawlessly. its also bcoz the new windows 1803 update taking place at the same time.

Updating drives doesn't work for me.

hey guys i figured out where to find the gear icon. after you open up steam click on your friends list in the bottom right and under your name and to the right you will see the gear icon to chance voice and such. ( you can change mic input/output and all the other goodies you guys are probably looking for)

Configuring the settings in the Friends list does not enable it for the game. I think you still need to configure it in the Settings > Voice panel.
