When I connect to Steam it says: "FRIENDS NETWORK UNREACHABLE"

It also says: "This failure may indicate that your local network is offline or that the Steam Friends servers are currently offline.".
I checked my connection but I am actually downloading a game from Steam so it's not the problem. Please help me or tell me that I'm not the only one with this weird problem

Yeah I have the EXACT same issue. I can look at the steam store, see all the sales etc. When I try to play Crossout and login it says I don't have permission to or don't have connection. My account is stuck on invisible constantly too. I've tried changing to online or away and nothing.

Was perfectly fine 10 hours ago before I left for work. Came home and now it's like this.

Attempt to try and run Steam in Safe Mode.
It eliminates the processes that may conflict with the client so Safe Mode will ensure that nothing is actually wrong on your end.

Adding "-tcp" to shortcut worked for me. So it's like "C:\Program Files\Steam\Steam.exe" -tcp

Steam in tcp-mode was no change for me. So this is not a 100% solution.

Same here. There are also signs that some updates may not be working (after restarting, things show up as '0/0 bytes... complete').
