[SOLVED] Games freezing on fullscreen (AMD GPU)
Hey guys.

Since I reinstalled Windows 10 I got this problem when setting games to fullscreen. Everytime I set fullscreen mode the game freezes after 5 seconds or so. I can still hear the mouse hovering menus and I can click and all but the video is frozen.

On windowed/borderless modes the problem is gone but there are settings that I can't change if it's not on fullscreen so it would be good to be able to use it.

I installed Windows after I added more RAM to my PC. In total there are 24GB, where channel A is 2x 8GB 2400MHz and channel B is 2x 4GB 2666MHz (same brand and all, the only differences are color and frequency, tho I configured the Bios so all channels stay at 2400MHz).

My graphic card is a RX590 and I thought maybe the Virtual Resolution could be causing this issue so I disabled all video related settings on Radeon software but the problem is still there.

Does anybody know how to fix this? Thanks everyone in advance.

After a lot of attempts I managed to solve it by uninstalling graphic card's driver and Radeon software and then reinstalling the driver with Windows Update. All attempts with Radeon software installed failed, so it must be a bug in its current version.
