Problem RAZER RAIJU

Two days ago the controller RAZER RAIJU starts to fail. And now the controller in steam gone crazy, in origin for example works good. Anyone have problem wit raiju?

Me and a friend have the same problem, after the newest update our controller is going crazy!!! in the middle of the game it starts changing title in spotify and have a different binding on keys... i dont get it
we deinstalled the driver and reinstalled it after. A normal ps4 controller causes no problems

check out the controller configs inside steam...deactivate any stuff from steam for the pad for modification.
it changed my settings after the update after changing them back all was fine again (but not with that gamepad so im not sure if it would help you two)

The following Topics are my Problems after the Update:

1. By pressing the R1 (RB) Button my mouse is moving to the left and rightklicks
2. By holding R1 (RB) and moving the left analog stick to
a) Left: Spotify plays the previous song
b) Right: Spotifiy plays the next song
c) up / Down: Ground Sound settings are going louder (up) lower (down)
3. Pressing R1 and after the R3 its open up the Screen zoom
4. And some random stuff aswell

What I tried so far:

1. Deinstall and reinstall drivers
2. Completly unmarked the steam controller settings
3. Checking Controller Keybindings


Still no idea what i could tryout next... Every other controller is working fine

Yep. Same problem here...

I tried SO many different things and my buttons are still all over the place!

It seems the problem is that the Razer Raiju also acts as a 'mouse' and it's completely screwing with my input and doing all sorts of weird things.
I tried disabling different drivers the controller has, trying different things with the Big Picture mode in steam.
A semi-fix seemed to be disabling the "Xbox 360 Controller Support" mode in big picture, but disabling that still left me with too many issues to really do anything beyond that.

I've had to resort to using my PS4 controller for now which works PERFECTLY fine.

Please sort this out Steam! I can't use my Raiju!

Yes! Although the Razer Raiju is recognised as an XInput Controller, if the Razer Raiju driver is installed, you can switch the driver to use Razer Raiju as a PS4 controller on Steam (Please install latest Steam Beta and select "PS4 configuration support" under Steam settings):

Open Device Manager
Find "Razer Raiju" under "Human Interface Devices"
Right Click and Update Device Software
Select "Browse my computer for driver software"
Select "Let me Pick from a list of device drivers on my computer"
Choose "HID-compliant game controller" and click "Next"
After the driver is updated, close the window and click "Yes" to restart your computer

Maybe this works? Im having the same issue both with the raiju and xbox one elite controller, but my ps4 controller works fine. Getting the raiju to be recognized as a ps4 controller might work. Havent been able to test it myself yet since im not at my computer atm.

in my case the name of the controller in device manager from windows changed from razer raiju to xbox 360 controller

This fixed my problem !! thanks alot !! after this you need to be sure that your xbox360 controller settings in big picture mode is turned off

hello together,

i have the same problems you mentioned with my raiju, most notably when i press RB it shows some kinda "bar" on the left top of my screen and my right bumper wont work after that..

i tried the things u mentioned fixed your problems but it seems i cant get them to work for me...

do you have the new driver installed for this solutions to work or how did you do any preperations before you tried the above mentioned fix? it still is recognized as a xbox controller on both steam and windows...

and the problem isnt just in steam games but also over uplay or the seperate dauntless launcher :(

if anyone has any tips, i would really appreciate them :)


EDIT of shame: i got him to work in steam now, but uplay wont register him anymore... this is some nasty trouble

at least for me i have to use inputmapper or some other program to make the pc think im using an xbox controller, when using the ps4 controller in other launchers than steam. Try that :)

Okay, I did that everyone says that is a answer to this problem (HID Compatible and that stuff). The controller seems to move okay, but L1 works like X and R1 works like pulling the joystick down.

Any solution to this pls?

if it happens just in steam games after this reconfigure your pad in steam
