Anyone here use Family Sharing?
So, a few questions and looking for ideas.

I live on my own, I gave my old pc to my little brother who is 9 years old who lives in a different apartment with my mom, who recently just got internet access.

Now that he has access to the internet I was curious if I could setup that computer to access my library, from his own account.

Im assuming I dont have the have my computer logged into steam for this to happen, as I'll probably be at work during the times he would like to use my library.

However he does not meet the age requirement to have a steam account, so I'm curious what you would do. Make a false account and let him use it? Have my mom create an account with her email and then have her let him use it? Surely there's kids on steam.

Create an account, enable family view on it and then family sharing. Log into that PC with both accounts.

I believe that if he is below 13 years old his legal guardian is responsible for the account, but still you can use family share to allow him to play games

alright. I just noticed gmails account requirments are 13 years old as well. I guess I'll just make an account for my mom with her gmail and he can use it until he's old enough. Thanks.

The age limitation is due to the US-American COPPA law. You will find it with pretty much every online service that is available in the USA
