Steam is having trouble using your browser's cookie. How do I fix this?
I am trying to make a trade, but I have a trade hold, and this is the reason steam gives me.

"Steam is having trouble using your browser's cookie."

I've tried multiple browsers and devices but still get the same error. Cookies are enabled for my browsers and this is the first time I'm hearing any problems with cookies.

Is there anything I can do? Is there any way to contact steam about this issue?

It's really frustrating, I bought some items from market and steam happily takes my money, forces me to wait a week to trade and now I still can't do anything with my items due to an undocumented error, at least I can't find any fixes. Only post with the same problem with no fix.

I have read the following kb and nothing applies to me.

Removing Extensions that may interfere with the login process

Try disabling any browser extensions or add-ons you have installed. These may interfere with the login process.

I have temporarily disabled all extensions in Chrome and Firefox. I'm still getting this error.

Yes, cookies are enabled for all my browsers. I even double checked just now and still not working.

Then it's possible that you have some program that is killing / clearing the cookies.

You said you tried multiple devices, so this may not be the case.

Same here. No way to get a hold of steam. It's been almost two years since I posted the question and still have the issue.

I solved this problem by using the steam mobile authenticator for a week, I believe the cookie error is misleading as I tried different computers, Operating systems, mobile, clearing cookie etc over a month but nothing. Only the mobile authenticator got rid of the message and let me trade.

IS THAT THE METHOD THEN?
