Can't log in - too many login attempts - help please

Hi There,

I forgot my password a few times and got locked out of my steam account. Since then, I changed my pasword so I know it now. I get this message:

"There have been too many login failures from your network in a short time period. Please wait and try again later."

It's been 4+ hours since I was locked out. I saw a few places that you should be able to log in after 1 hour. For my last two login attempts, I waited 1:05hr and 1:15hr respectively before trying to login in with no luck. This is quite frustrating. Any advice?

Did you read the link?
Next time you wait a long while and want to try again, don't use the link thing. Just go to https://steamcommunity.com and see if you can log in.

You could also try it from your phone without wifi, should get you a new IP.

Yeah, I waited 3+ hours this time. Tried to log in at https://steamcommunity.com but I'm still unable to log in through my browser.

I am unable to log in either. Been more than 24 hours. I can access Steam Community and it works on my app, but not the browser. I cleared history, cache, cookies etc but no luck so far. What to do?

Just tried again after 12 hours. Still unable to log in through my browser. Steam is broken.

Man, steam sure seems to know what theyre doing these days huh? I cant wait till they become my mechanical slug overlords that suck me dry while i have no say in the matter ; )
