Steam missing psapi.dll, reinstalling doesnt work
Whenever I try to open the steam application, a error message always comes up saying that I'm missing a psapi.dll file and that reinstalling it might work. I've reinstalled it several times and it still hasn't worked and I'm not sure what to do now. anyone know how to fix this problem?

Check if your anti-virus software or any other security processes is blocking the file.

Simple way to test this is by booting your PC in safe-mode and try to launch Steam.

The DLL could've been corrupt as well.

psapi.dll is a windows dll which means your OS is totally screwed up

1) run windows update
2) run sfcscan
