Big picture edit controller layout?

I'm about to take apart my switch pro controller so I can swap the ABXY buttons to where they would be on an XBOX controller. Is there a way that I can edit my controllers layout to match when navigating big picture mode? Thanks

You mean the button icons?

Probably not, considering I don't see skins made for Big Picture Mode itself either.

Maybe modifying some configuration file and using -noverifyfiles but otherwise that's kind of a long shot.

Not the icons themselves. Just the actions. Like for example, Wehn I press the A button on the controller, have it press B instead of A in Big Picture.

You can remap what buttons does what in big picture without problems, still it will keep on showing the button you mapped.

Steam tries to adapt for controllers but it doesn't really account for people modifying the hardware.

I would just remapp the stuff you need, almost all games will show the xbox layout anyway.
