No, it is not. But keep in mind that running multiple games is in no way an effective method to idle games as Valve reduces the drop rate. Running one game at a time is the most effective way.
No rules, but running multiple games use to slow down card drops, not sure if that changed.
Nope.

You going to idle that bundle you just purchased?

No its not, and its also ok to run a program that does it automatically. I use ASF without problem, it can idle cards and hours on as many accs as i want at same time, it uses only like 100 mb ram and pretty much no cpu no matter how many accs or games it idles.

and asf is really safe ? i dont want to risk anything , i just want to get card drops from games , but since my pc is strong anyway and i often spend a few hours just browsing youtube in the evening i can easily leave single games running during that time

I operate card farm with over 300 bots powered by asf, and on dozens of my real accs and for friends i use it to farm hours, i started using it in 2016 and never had any problem, and dont know why i should - its nothing bad or shady. As long as the bot accs arent stolen/hijacked its safe with any amount of bots.

i now set up the program (asf) , is it safe to play something while its running , it said it would take around a month and 16 hours to idle everything ( it found 395 games with remaining drops ) i dont really want to not play anything at all for that long , i mostly want to play some offline games like final fantasy
If you are running ASF, you are already technically playing a game so exiting ASF is required.
Same goes for Idle-Master and Idle Daddy.

But anything that does not require Steam should be okay.

thanks , i dont really want to play anything right now anyway , so its fine , the program has been running for 1 hour and i got a star ocean card already

guess i could always have it idle when i am doing other things besides gaming if its a problem to play a game while idling , or i could play the sims on origins
