Each module has 2 integer cores that share resources. The 6300 has 3 cores with 6 logical processors.
Don't worry about the CPU score Windows gives you, it's meaningless.
That is, show 6 thread graphs.
HWmonitor look for your CPU then find the Utilisation section for it. You should have 7 entries. Processor = all of it.
CPU #0
CPU #1
CPU #2
CPU #3
CPU #4
CPU #5
CPU #0 to #5 = 6 threads which is correct.
On CPU-Z under the CPU tab look at the bottom
It'll tell you how many cores and how many threads. You shoulld see Cores 3 and Threads 6.
but fx cores are not real cores, they are paired sharing fpus
if its counting fpus as cores it has 3 (task manager shows fpus not what amd calls cores)
start -> run/search -> msconfig -> boot tab -> [advanced]
change number of procesors to 6 or untick the box to limit it

You can how ever Press the Windows Key + R and a run box will show up
Type in the run box, msconfig and press enter
Go to the boot tab, and click on Advanced options
Check the box the says Number of Processors and in the drop down box, select 6.
Leave everything as is, and click Ok, Then click Apply and Ok and restart, you should now have 6 threads.
Once again.. Why do this crap when NOTHING is wrong..
"My OCD makes me freak out cuz spec sheet says it's a 6 core" ...
cpuz will still report it as 6 core/6 thread even when cores are disaled in msconfig
windows weport it as fewer cores (modules) if pairs are disabled in bios
best to reset bios to defaults, and make sure msconfig is set to use all cores
The only thing I can think that he has something disabled in BIOS, just as we have the ability to disable SMT.
ryzen and fx are completely different
an new i3 will run circles around it
also winsat is useless, ignore it too
Even 6th Gen Pentium would run better overall.
8th Gen i3 tears it a new one.
