Stretched screen video after recording??

Hi, I was wondering if this was a resolution problem but i don't think it is because ive changed all the resolution settings and played around with it and still get the same result. Basically whenever I record a short instant replay, the video comes up like this and I don't know how to change it so that it's fullscreen... https://imgur.com/a/6LbdYgX

What are you recording with?
How did you setup the recording?

always make sure your recording software or the steam recording settings match your display

my big tip is to use window mode, it can still match your display, but it helps moving the screen around and software like bandicam actually make recording simple and less hard

trust me, recording in fullscreen can be tough to record if your a newbie, I had problems like this for years so

My monitor is 1680 x 1050 and I use fullscreen windowed resolution, I recorded it with shadowplay and I didnt set it up, I just used my instant replay hotkey

Nevermind guys i fixed it by changing to 4:3 res, thanks for help anyways
