Steam confirmed a trade without my permission
I was gonna trade something with someone. I chose my 3 items and his. Then it sent a confirmation notification to my phone. I said yes. Somehow, guy duplicated that without his 1 item. And accepted the offer from his account. But trade says I sent that offer to him, but there was no notification in my phone..
How can this happen.

It wasnt a bug or a hack. It was just skill. :steammocking:

I would do everything 999999999 posted. Your account is screwed at this point.

The same thing happened to me except I haven’t put my login in anything but CSFloat, buff and SkinApe, and steam wont do anything about the 600 dollar knife that was just hacked off my account even though I have a mobile steam guard, steam is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

Like do I just trade everything to an alt or do they have access to my inventory
You misunderstand your situation. A soulless piece of software cannot confirm what you have already joyfully done.

Either one, or perhaps all of them that exactly conspired against you. :stimulation:

Never manually login to 3rd party side. At least use Open ID.

Stay calm, and do all these steps:

1. Scan for malware.
https://www.malwarebytes.com/

2. Check that the email and phone number on the Steam account are still yours.

3. Deauthorize all other devices.
https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage

4. Change passwords from a clean computer.

5. Generate new backup codes for your Mobile App. https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage

6. Revoke the API key (there should be no key).
https://steamcommunity.com/dev/apikey

You don't have to move anything to anywhere. There might be a bot lie in wait to intercept your trade.

Claims never logged into any sites... proceeds to name three possible sites that could have hijacked login info.

"I haven't put my login information into anything but two scam sites I don't really know anything about and am convinced are safe because reasons, even though I was just mysteriously "hacked", surely there's no relationship and a super hacker targeted me because my ancestor insulted his ancestor.... AND STEAM WON"T DO ANYTHING!!"
