please help i cant friend people even though i have 5 dollars

five dollars Canadian? you realize that limit is in American Dollars, also you have to have added it yourself so someone giving you a digital gift care doesn't count..

also you can friend people, they just have to be the ones to send you the request..

i cant contact my friend who i wanted to friend on steam
also why would it HAVE to be american thats just stupid

because Valve is an american company.. they don't base it on your local currency because of how vastly different the values of currency are.. aka our $5 Canadian is only about $3.80 in American (at the time of this post).. meaning if it were to count, we would have to actually pay less for the feature than Americans do..

as for your friend, just wait till the next time you talk to him or hang out, he can add you then

just wait till the next time you talk to him, no reason to rush it.. asking people to contact others on your behalf is very bad etiquette on online communities
