refund policy question
so I wanted to ask as I did look it up, but haven't seen a example of it

basically I wanted to know if refunds still applied to games you bought like 2 years ago, but never played and never downloaded

I do have some from steam keys, but I also have a bundle that only has one game that was played for 1 minute

do these games count towards a refund? I am aware of the "2 weeks, and 2 hours" rule but as their policy also states " , but even you fall outside of the refund rules we’ve described, you can ask for a refund anyway and we’ll take a look."

before people answer I do know these things:

if the request is made within fourteen days of purchase, and the title has been played for less than two hours.

Valve cannot provide refunds for purchases made outside of Steam

so long as none of the items in the bundle have been transferred, and if the combined usage time for all items in the bundle is less than two hours.

the only reason I am asking is I do have some games I bought directly on steam, but never even downloaded them and thought maybe I could get steam credit, I am asking here first as steam support is filled with pre made emails, if you guys think there is no way in heck valve would do this, then you at the very least helped me save time talking to support that in my experience never gives you a direct answer so

2 years is impossible. times before 2 years is up is up to the support personnel who looks at your inquiry, but 99.9% of cases will be denied.

You're not getting refunds on them

You're also not going to get a refund because you got a legitimate ban on a community hub and then lied about it here

A. my forum use has nothing to do with asking for refunds, like if I bought a game today and refunded it less then hrs of play, they could not deny me

b. this has nothing to do with my ban or that post, I never lied about my ban, I never got any real answer to my ban, it was not legtitmate, as I have broke no community rules and I stand by that

C. this has nothing to do with this, so why are you bringing something up that has nothing to do with what I am asking?

Satoru is not following you. Both the threads he mentioned are on the first page of your post history, which is reachable by 1 click.

I know this, I have done this as well before, my question is why is satoru calling me out on this post?, yes in my recent post I did mention discuss it with another op and the 2nd link he is basically I am lier and that because of it, somehow steam will never refund any game I buy in the near future

so yea, I did post around and comment on stuff that I was looking for that I wanted to comment on, since I am never on the fourms, but I feel as if satoru came here and commented in a rude way that was uncalled for

so yea this post had nothing to do with my ban, or a refund of "TUG" as I mentioned early, this had me thinking about a bundle I bought in 2016 that I never played, but yes maybe the community post was a result of this post because I wanted to know how long before you cannot refund a game

and if I am being totally honest, I only asked because a user had told me backed tug, had it on his steam account, but never played it, since NK isn't around to help him, I thought I would ask here without directly mentioning it because honestly it doesn't matter why I asked this, but that I got a answer to a simple question, zefar asked, and I appricate him, but satoru came here to call me out on stuff that was never mentioned by me or anyone untill now

again my ban has nothing to do with refunds unless its a VAC ban, and its not that big of a deal, I never came back to discuss this, again until it was mentioned for no reason

I tried to refund an older purchase of mine, but it looks like I can't. What can I do?

Purchases made significantly outside of the 14 day refund window are not eligible for a refund request.

Just to add the official line.
