100% Disk usage need help!
So in 2017 I bought a Dell Inspiron 15 7000 series laptop. 3 months after purchasing it I got 100% disk usage, I disabled superfetch, anti virus, checked for viruses, disabled more things and worked great for a week the black screen nothing more. I’ve had to factory reset the dang thing every 3 months to solve the issue. Is the a way of actually solving this or should I just buy a different computer. All drivers are up to date, latest windows 10 update, system has a hdd/ssd hybrid. i5 7300 hq, 8 gb ram, 4gb gtx 1050.

Open task manager, hit details, and see what is using all your HDD. Formatting your PC without even finding out the root cause is pointless.

I have and it just jumps from program to program. It will say system is using all the disk then jumps to task manager then windows defender and just keeps jumping randomly

Your disk is knackered then.

It's not that programs are using 100% of your disk, it's that your disk can no longer provide the performance required for normal operation.

See that’s what I’ve been thinking but I didn’t want to believe it because it’s a $750 USD laptop and that blows that I got a crap SSD/HDD

Laptop HDD's aren't that expensive. You can pick up a decent 1TB 3.5" drive for $40 or a 1TB SSHD like a FireCuda for $60

Sounds good I’ll have to look into that. Thanks.
