So PUBG just crashed and it somehow deleted my entire steam folder
Seriously, any way to get back my game data? I dont wanna waste like hours redownloading the games i wanted to play

Update : Apparently my hard drive became obsolete after the game crashed

It might not have deleted the folder its possible that it just broke the link between Steam and the folder and in that case you can easily fix it by pointing Steam to it again.

That's impossible, how would a video game delete your entire folder? There is something else clearly going on with your Operating System perhaps.

Same question, how can a game delete the folder, but it happened right after my game crashed while i was in war mode

Maybe it crashed because something was happening to its folder

In your recycle bin by any chance?

Did your game crash or the entire computer?

Have you tried enabling hidden folders in Windows settings? Maybe it's hidden? I dunno why it would be not there. I bet it's hidden or something is messing with your system. I mean Steam is very common to have this kind of bug but I ain't sure.

This. ^

Far more probable that's the correct order of things.

Did you install Steam in its default location, or on some other disk? Are you sure Steam is not in said location?

Ok it seems that pubg did not uninstall the folder

But instead it made one of my hard drives with the games obsolete, seriously, the only hard drive i have right now is the wb hard drive and my other seagate hard drive is missing

At this moment, the pc is stuck in the windows 10 booting screen

So it's drive related then.
