I am hopeing for a way to magnify the Steam store pages,it gets to be a bit of an eye strain for us oldy folks,in fact this page too could benefit from a magnifying bar.Exactly the same one thats on the LIBRARY page would do.Thanks FYT.

If you use FireFox, press and hold "ctrl", then scroll with the mouse wheel.

I do use Firefox but not for steam,i just click on the steam tile that was provided when i joined up.Maybe this tile uses EDGE or I Explorer in the background?I dont know.

Just start FireFox and go here: https://store.steampowered.com/
Bookmark it into the "Bookmarks Toolbar" as "store".

Then you could create a second bookmark for https://steamcommunity.com/discussions/# as "Forum". Because of the used icon there is no need for "Steam" in the name.

Then you can open multiple tabs for different discussions, have a spelling check active all the time when writing a post, open multiple pages from the store page and so on.

AND you can use the zoom feature of FireFox.

Would lowering your desktop resolution be a possibility for you, or are you already at the lowest setting, your system offers? Steam works well down to 1024x768 (I am unsure about 800x600, maybe sidescrolling would work, but it seems, the client window needs a minimum width of 1000 these days).
