Need to delete web browser cache for Steam to connect to 'Friends' tab
The Steam app refuses to sign in. In order for me to log in I need to clear my browser cache in Steam multiple times before a connection is established.

Have already tried fixing it by deleting "localconfig.vdf" in my Steam config folder. Doesn't seem to work.

Any other ideas?

Thanks in advance!

You don't need to establish a connection to the friend's network in order to access your Steam settings.

Check the task-bar on the bottom right of your PC and right-click the Steam icon and select 'Settings'.

From there, navigate and clear your web browser cache.

Hey. Thanks for taking the time to reply. The issue is not me being able to go in the settings. It's that I'm forced to clear the cache to get signed in. Otherwise I stay offline. I want to get logged in when I press the button. And not have to clear the cache 5-10 to be able to do that.
