BF:BC2 help error

Hey, i just bought the game and by entering the cd key i received an error please help me to solve it

Did you follow the instructions the error provided?

if this happens during account creation press cancel then login with your new account.

yes, i logged into my new account typed the cd key again and the error showed up again

I tried updating punkbuster and did nothing, logged in into origin THEN opened this game on steam with origin open and then the game worked just fine.
I don't know if it's a coincidence but it worked for other people too.

If that does not work I'd recommend taking your issue over to the BF:BC2 discussions.
