Seems your Logitech software is configure to look at settings via the local pc, instead of the rom onboard your device. Change that setting in the Logitech Gaming Software. If you always use just the rom settings and make changes to that, then your settings for said devices will follow around with you as you take and plug that into another system, as the rom has them stored. If you rely on local pc profiles, each pc will have different settings.

In the logitech gamining software there is an option to toggle startup effects on/off. Not sure about the changes when loading a game as I have that set when I create my own profiles. Sure you coud make sure the enable per profile lighting option is not checked. That should leave the rgb the same regardless of what you load.

Yes disable effects and games ability to touch that; then your lighting should always stay how u had it. It "might" reset sometimes on a cold boot of the PC; then return back to what the profile was using once inside your OS.

Many Logitech devices have a built in ROM. In your Logitech software, make sure it's saving settings to ROM. If you save to local pc profile, settings changes will only exist on THAT PC and will not apply until your PC loads up into your OS.

If you save to rom, it's saved globally on the mouse itself and thus will work in DOS, in another OS you just booted into, or even when using the device on another PC
