Accidentally added a Key to my library, can I get it back?
It was supposed to be a present, but I bought it online and tried to make sure it's legit, but now it's in my library. I haven't installed the game or done anything else with it, is it possible for me to get a working key back?

No, the game is bound to your account now and cannot be transferred.

if you didnt trust the site to give you a working key, why would you buy from them?

Apart from all that, Steam should just give us a " key tester" option where you can enter a key and it will tells you exactly which game/dlc it is and what it contains.
That cant be that hard and would be a useful feature in any case.

Highly unlikely. What would be the motivation for them to do so? Let's be real here, this is pretty much only an issue when a key is bought from some shady site that is basically a fence. Valve doesn't see any of that money, why would they introduce a system to make it more attractive?
