Black screen on closing games

I am having black screen on closing games sometimes. I spotted this on games with modding like Skyrim, Warcraft 3, because I use creation tools and then game to test it afterwards I start up the game dozen times every time. I red somewhere that unpluging your monitor connection helps but it doesnt. Its just black. It happened to me once that video on youtube I was listening continued playing in the background. Idk what may cause this. I installed win 7 myself and I am using driver booster from iobit for driver instalation because they give me headaches. Its really annoying to restart your PC by turning of electricity 4x a day and I am afraid of damaging it. Please help.

have you tried verifying intergrity of game files? you might have to check on files in your games directory.some mods you've installed might have gone wrong like not properly putting in.

Well I got Warcraft 3 from the times before the steam on CD. And Skyrim so heavily modded that it would probably destroy my entire game. :/ Thus I dont think vertyfiing is an option.
