Steam Cart getting black / 500 error
Trying to buy Walking Dead. Can't because it's black in steam, and within a browser, as soon as you go to "add to cart" you get a 500 error. Anyone know if it's being fixed?

Not sure on the status of a fix, but I'm having the same issue and have seen a few others mentioning the same.

You are not the only one. I am getting the same. I hope they fix it before my game goes back to full price.

Yeah I think everyone is having this issue. They should be fixing it within a day or two as soon as they find out about it unless they have already.

The only thing is that that site doesn't report the status of the Cart -- just the Store. The store is working fine right now until you try to proceed to the Cart.

The 500 Internal Server Error is a very general HTTP status code that means something has gone wrong on the website's server, but the server could not be more specific on what the exact problem is.

I love how the support page has no category for this issue, to report it.

Happens when I try with my phone too, as well as PC.

You will find that the actual site for handling the purchase of games is separate from the general steam main steam site. Like how the discussions site is separate. That way when one major site goes down the rest of Steam can keep going. As for raising issues they don't want to be flooded with 100's of people reporting the same issue. I am sure they are well aware that the store site is down. And are racing to get it back up. They aren't making any money while it is off-line.
Same problem on my PC and my phone app. I can get to the games I want to buy just fine, but when I try to add the game to my cart, it just goes to a black screen and loads endlessly. I would like to make my purchases before the prices go back up as well. I had a few purchases I wanted to make today. Trying to throw money at you Valve, but you don't seem to want it...
