Steam Community randomly disconnecting while in game
For some reason, for a few days now I have had this weird issue where when I am in game, steam will seemingly randomly disconnect from Steam Community for a seemingly random length of time. This is preventing me from playing multiplayer games, as well as making it difficult to load Workshop mods in source engine games such as Left 4 Dead 2.

I have noticed a potential link to Fullscreen mode, as while running a test with 2 different games in Window mode, disconnects never happened. The games I tested this with were "Mini Thief" and "Left 4 Dead 2". When running Left 4 Dead 2 in Fullscreen again, after a short while the disconnects started happening again. This could simply be down to coincidence however.

I do not get random disconnects at all while not in game. I can download games just fine, talk to friends, browse the Steam Community, etc. It is only once I am in game that the disconnects happen. I have found no evidence of my entire internet dropping, only Steam Community is getting disconnected from. I also reiterate that this is a new issue for me. A few days ago, I did not have this issue at all.

My system specs:
Operating System: Windows 7 Professional 64-bit
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo 2.00GHz
RAM: 6GB
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050

At times, the servers can get wonky.

This causes your client to drop connection.

You'd either have to restart Steam or refresh the page profusely in order to re-gain connection.

You've factored out local connection issues.

These server issues happen during maintenance days - especially Tuesday evenings.

At other times, the servers do get wonky, and expect to be disconnected.
