How to run game in Borderless Window Mode

I know how to run game in windowed mode with "directory/game" -w.
What I do not know is how to run it in borderless window without using external software (as it may be malware or it may degrade game performance, i dont trust .exe from net).

I have old warcraft 3. But it runs in fullscreen eats up my windows and sometimes I have to unplug my power cable because it wont close! It will glitch, into absolute blackness. I can still hear the sounds, when I am for example listening to music but even repluging monitor does nothing, it just kills my GPU. I dont think this is driver so do not write me that please. I am afraid I will damage my drive by doing these hard unplugs and I will loose data or will have to go true headache of reinstalling whole windows.

So far I will run the game in windowed mode but any help would be appretiated because windowed mode kinda looks bad, but I want to keep my windows loaded so I can just terminate the game at any time without consequence.

if it's not supported, then you'd have to code it yourself, or use a program like https://store.steampowered.com/app/388080/Borderless_Gaming/
and hope it works.

the game is quite old, I dont think it have borderless support.

so about closing the game with force.
you can try enable "always on top" in task manager, so if the game freeze in full screen, you open your task manager it (maybe) will appear on top of the blackscreen game, and you can end task.

Most modern games do support borderless window mode, and you can found the option in the game, some games will requries you head to the game folder and modify the settings file, and in your case, warcraft 3, I'm afraid you can't do it without external stuffs

Thank you. I will certainly try it. Although I am not sure if it will work. Because even ctrl + alt + delete will not. :/

try ctrl+shift+esc, it bring task manager instantly.
