Voice chat doesnt work at all!

Yesterday things worked just fine. Today? Not so much. Voice button is grey and doesnt do anything. And steam sayed that this new chat will be better than discord. xD Well i think im gonna start use discord because of this s@it!

yep same issue for me, worked yesterday, today nothing, clicking on the microphone button in the bottom right of a chat windows but nothing happen...

Its not a bug. Its because some people are running the Beta version of steam and some are running the Stable version of steam. If you hover your mouse on the button when its grayed it out it will tell you :D

i use to voice chat with my sister while playing, yesterday it worked, we use both the stable version of steam, we download no update since yesterday, and when i put my mouse over the microphone button which is not grayed, it just say " send a voice chat request "on both pc

Well some of my steam friends are on beta and some are not. Im on beta and i can only voice chat with users who are on beta.

Neither myself or my friend are running beta. It's just not working. It just says 'Send a voice request' and then nothing happens.
