How do I stop "borrowing" a game?
Some time ago I shared my game library with my 'at the time' girlfriend, and she shared hers. I played on one of her games which then gets registered as borrowing. We broke up some time ago, no bad feelings. But I want to buy the game myself but I can't cause I apparently already own it because I'm borrowing it. I was wondering if anyone knows how to stop borrowing a game from my end? Without having to ask my ex and avoid the awkward conversation.

Borrowing does not count as owning. What game are you talking about?
Does it show up here?

Steam/Settings/Family/Family Library Sharing and uncheck the box for her account

Yeah it shows up on there saying it came from the store. I just really don't remember buying it. I only remember playing it when we had shared our libraries. Thought it was still being borrowed. Thank you Cathulhu :D

Log out. Go to your steam/config installation folder, (make a back up first) delete config.vdf , then restart Steam.

That will remove ALL Family Share connections from your account.
