Depends what you mean by 'Check the trade link' ??

A trade link opens a trade window from someone - you can see their account from there, you don't need to add them as a friend.

if they havn't posted/shared one, you don't.

You could take a look at the post history. If they have posted in a trading group, chances are that post has a trade button.

A trade link is generated by a user and shared / used at their discretion.

It's as simple as that.
