My Steam account got hacked by just logging in steam to a csgo betting website

Don't use third party sites. If you must check them thoroughly before you do.

I agree. People are just dumb enough to go to the site without reading. They are also dumb enough to "log in" to the site and give away their username, password, and Steam Guard code just because someone tells them to do it or because the word "skins" is in the URL.

Stealing CS:GO accounts is easier than taking candy from a baby.

Doesn't matter if it is locked now. You didn't say how long they had access to your account so therefore they had the opportunity to play csgo using cheats until you had it locked.

this happend to me yesterday. They did get me banned on Pubg. I could see the ip adress that took over it. It was some guy from Russia.. He played like 5 hours util i got the banned.
