Purchased DLC for Train Simulator and it won't download it to my Library
Title says it all. Normally when DLC for Train Simulator 2018 is purchased it automatically downloads into the Livrary so you can use it. Not today. No downloads happening. Anybody else having this problem?

Try this
Steam>Settings>Web Browser>delete web browser cache. You will have to log back into Steam

Thanks for the comment. Sounded like a possible solution. I did this and still can't install the new items in my Library by ticking the install box.

Hi Riverguy,

In the meantime I'd suggest checking to see if your firewall or antivirus software are blocking Steams downloads as this can stop Steam automatically downloading DLC and updates.

I had this same issue the past couple days and just stumbled across my solution. Try this-> from within steam, pull up the "Properties" for TrainSim ... select the "Local FIles" tab. There is a button "Verify Integrity of Local FIles...". Click it and it will start scanning the installed files. Mine reported that I had 1 bad file, it then auto-downloaded it again. Re-started STEAM, and now the content is reporting installed ! Fired up TS, and verified the new content is actually there. Hope this helps.

Still no joy here. Sort of works sometimes but not the way DLC used to load into Library then be able to click uninstlled items in Library and install them into Train Simulator. The only way I can sometimes get them to install is close Train Simulator and Steam then start them both up again.

I now am running the Train Simulator 2019 64 bit version of TS and my problems mentioned above are now fixed. Thanks to everyone who suggested possible fixes.
