This isn't a 'change'. It's a step backwards. Why not just patch in an old version of ICQ?
And what do you want done? Because it wouldn't matter if 100% of comments agreed with you cause Steam doesn't care what the community thinks because they're in control of everything! Do you know how long people have been asking for so many things that will improve steam and nothing has been been done? Anyways, I've always hated all these platforms too much power over your games, money and speech. Do you really own your account? Or do they own you?
The only outcome you will get is mostly likely a ban or your post removed because it violates TOS somehow. Which is usually made up on the spot because some fanboi of Steam reported your post in the first place or it does take notice and they don't agree with it. So they make up a term like your were trolling, spamming, Anti-social, etc.
If you're a not mindless consumer and bow to Steam overlords you're agaisnt them. Therefore they will silence you.
The real matter of this topic, how long will it be before op is banned and thread locked for speaking his mind?
Now that the formalities are out of the way: wtf is going on here? I downloaded this Bioshock bundle and only one out of the 3 games ever worked! wtf is this sh##? Trash if you ask me.
They have already brought offline mode back in the beta build.
I have yet to find anyone that likes the new interface completely but lets get serious here for a minute.
can we as the glorious PC master race, not have our cake and eat it too? Lets get options and steam themes officially supported so we can all have the correct interface, memory foot print and ease of use we want and lets "all ditch the new steam chat" and sellout to discord, skype, mumble, teamspeak and all the others until steam fixes what it broke.
This new interface is antisocial and irritating on steam friends and chat so I am opting not to use it until it gets fixed. It is cumbersome and overly complex for no reason other than to be offputting. No one needs auto picture and video linking inside of chat..... That is an exploit waiting to happen!!! WE DEMAND CHOICE! We should have security and options here.
The new emoticon selection is slow and sucks too. I miss the old one page filled up with emoticons so you can memorize where everything is and easily get to it again without accidentally scrolling past it all.
