If you make throwaway email accounts then you should keep track of them in the future.

You're not able to find that information through the account details page.
We cannot help you with that.
Isnt it the first part of the email address at first?
Dont you have other proofs?
There is no place you can see this information via the account (unless it's also the current email). Intentionally. None of the proof of ownership is visible on the account only the original owner has any chance of knowing it.
You can't as its been said for security reasons. Otherwise anyone taking over your account could see it. You have to remember what it is.
So, support is asking for the email? You will have to figure it out yourself.
And older accounts have that email as account name.
Its rather a detail to lock the owner out from their account.
Valve can easily tell if anyone would know that email from a gift you sent (i.e. you have never changed it) or if it is the account name and can ask for something else in those cases.
They don't ask you to USE it, as far as I know they ask what it WAS. It's a confirmation, not necessarily a 'got to only ever use this email'.
