If you can ask for data that may be used for account ownership purposes what would stop a hijacker accessing the account and asking the exact same thing? Once you and they know such data what happens when you try to provide proof of ownership and the hijacker is providing the same data as you?

There is one way to identify the first email but this way only works if you have access to that email.
If you know the year when you created you steam account like 2014 or 2012 login to the email and search for steam support emails the first time you created the account. Check the received year of the oldest email. If it matches your year then it’s probably the first email.
(provided you didn’t change emails from the day the account was created lol I mean who does that)
