How to play Steam Games with GearVR
http://www.tomsguide.com/faq/id-3352111/play-steam-games-samsung-gear.html
Since you are on a Laptop; first go and download these 3x Driver Suites first.
> Intel Chipset INF[downloadcenter.intel.com]
> Intel Iris Pro Graphics 580[downloadcenter.intel.com]
> NVIDIA GeForce Mobile 900M series[www.nvidia.com]
This way you have the driver packages already downloaded and ready to install. But do not install just yet...
Now run the DDU App and change the Options as shown in the IMGUR picture based guide in the 1st link above at the start of this post from the MasterRaceGeeks group.
Once in Windows Safe Mode, wait for DDU to popup, it will, just give it a moment.
Then select INTEL > Clean but do not Restart
when cleaning is done, select NVIDIA > clean but do not restart.
When all done, exit DDU app, then Restart Windows normally.
*Once back in normal Windows, make sure the LAN/WIFI gets disabled temporarily for the rest of this period. This avoids Windows Updates from stepping in right away. Then proceed with the above driver installs, in the order I listed them, when one finishes, Restart Windows, do the next driver install, and so-on until all 3 are fully install successfully. Reboot after the NVIDIA one as well at the end, because Drivers and Software of this kind in relation to hardware controlling; may not function properly or fully until after rebooting.
