PS3 controller stopped working on PC with SCP
I had my PS3 controller working perfectly fine for a couple weeks on my PC (using SCP Toolkit, xbox 360 controller drivers, and a wired USB connection) playing steam games and gamecube games via dolphin. Then the other day, for seemingly no reason, when i plugged in my controller to my PC, the 4 red lights on the controller started flashing and kept flashing. (before, when it was working, one single light was on solid). not a single program will recognize any input from the controller anymore.

i tried uninstalling and then re-installing the xbox drivers AND scp, i tried plugging it into my ps3 and then disconnecting it via the on-screen menu, and i tried uninstalling +reinstalling the ps3 controller driver in device manager (under "human interference devices -> HID-compliant game controller"), but none of it has made a difference.

in the "game controllers" menu in the control panel, it is recognized as a PS3 controller, but again, none of its input is recognized, and i think it's supposed to be recognized as a 360 controller anyways because of scp.

i dont want to use motioninjoy because it sucks and i don't want to buy any more hardware because i'm broke. my setup was working just fine, so logically there has to be a way to make it work again. any advice?

EDIT: well i just kept trying to make it work by uninstalling/reinstalling the xbox driver and scp toolkit and for whatever reason it actually WORKED this time even though i'm pretty sure i did the exact same thing like 4 times previously. so my problem is "solved" i guess. whatever
