And try setting its Priority to High
That would be work to set the cores each time I start dosbox.
I would do that. But I haven't found the settings in the task manager in my win 7.
To toggle cores, go to Affinity, un-tick all cores, tick 1-core only, click OK, repeat the process and re-tick All Cores and click OK.
Just try the Priority > High first and see if that somehow helps. On some games/apps it very well can help sometimes.
