Not receiving emails about steam sales.

I haven't been receiving emails about games on my wishlist when they go on sale. I checked my email preferences and the box is checked for it. Anyone know how I can fix this issue?

Did you check your spam folder and insure they're not being thrown in another folder other than the main inbox? If it's a gmail account those kinds of messages might be getting filtered in to the promotions tab. If you have multiple email accounts verified with steam, which is a good idea for security purposes such as if your account were compromised, check which account is the primary email on steam and make sure that's the one you're checking.

I haven't been getting them either nor am I aware of if anything on my wishlist has had a sale. I also have no clue when the email notification is sent out when that happens. I think it's safe to assume the email notification is automated and immediate so it's either a setting somewhere or you found something that's not working.

Yeah, it's just recent. You're most likely right. I just need to make a habit of manually checking it.

Dig around the wishlist settings if there are any. I just did and didn't see anything about opting in to notifications but I didn't scroll the entire page. I do wear vision correction...maybe I missed it or don't see it.

I don't even think it does that anymore, as you get the notification through the mobile app.

Haha! If you mean me I haven't been a regular on this area of the forums for long. I usually surfed forums specific to games I have but I'm pretty new to coming to this area. I've had steam since it was released (had another account before this one if you look and see the date) and thought I'd try to contribute here.
