They buy them with stolen information. They are so cheap so they will sell quickly, before the stolen information can be reported.

There is a reason those sites are censored.

And how can I purchase a key, not a game?

I mean you can buy cheaper keys from legit sites. They won't be as cheap as the sites you are talking about. But during the humble bundle sales, games will be cheaper and those are given as keys. Other legit sites include fanatical, greenmangaming etc.

This site lists legit resellers.

The last site is very recommendable as it's essentially a search engine to look through authorized resellers for great deals on games. You can find deals that beat the Steam Summer sale prices for example.
Got BATTLETECH in a time limited deal on gamesbillet.com that way. Cheaper than Steam.

Ok and as we got to it, how are getting keys these verified sites listed above? :D
Cathulhu Jul 4, 2018 @ 10:37am
Those authorized resellers have deals with the publishers and get their keys from them directly.

Not all store work that way. Some stores get their keys directly from the publishers (humble, indiegala etc.) those don't get filtered in on the forum, either. Some other stores that also sold physical copies used to (I don't know if that is still a thing) sell keys from those to online customers (and trashbinned the physical copy - they were not supposed to do that but it usually didn't cause any harm/trouble, either).

I see what you are doing.

If you want to be a reseller, my advice would be, do it in a way not violating the rules.
