why steam got rid of "pre-order" of Fire Watch in my inventory?

I bought Fire Watch before official its release date,and it hjas been held in my inventory.But recentory i aware of the erase of the pre-oreder of this game.why steam did that?

Well guess what? Valve isn't going to change it back. There are no pre-order copies of Firewatch, or probably any other game, in anyones inventory anymore. So you are forever stuck with the one you have till you add it to your account or trade ot to someone else.

They won't, because they can't. As I said, you paid for a copy of Firewatch, you have a copy of Firewatch.

The ways traders try to inflate value of products still amazes me. This is pretty much the same as the 'duped' tf2 items having less value. The only way to even find out was to go outside of TF2 somewhere to check the item but somehow it was supposed to be worth far less.

Why is that an issue? The game has been released. Whether it still says preorder or not is meaningless now.

i beleave that it is important for trading wheter it has preorer or not.

I've been trading for 5 years. Whether a game is a pre-order or not has absolutely no impact on its price or desirability unless that pre-order comes with unique content not available after the release.

This is a pointless thread. If you have a problem with the game or what it has been renamed to then you should take it up with the developer/publisher.
