Trying to trade, auto-declining?
Trying to trade my Unusual to a buyer, and for some reason it continues to auto-decline the trade when we both accept and confirm via steam auth. Anyone have any ideas?

So if you aren't doing it, and neither is the person you are trading with, then a bot somewhere is somehow messing with the transaction. Are you having this issue with any other trades you have tried to make? If not, something is happening on their end.

You haven't logged into any 3rd party trading/gambling sites... ever, have you. Sounds like someone has your login credentials and has a bot trying to hijack your trades. Might be time to update your Steam password.

I update it about once every month to two months, and always deauth other devices when I do. I'll change my password again but, I dunno.

And no, I only ever use backpack.tf, if that. Gambling is dumb.

Maybe the problem is on the other end and the bot has their credentials and keeps canceling the trade to try and get in the middle somehow.

It's not a bot. It's an actual person.
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

No. I did a test trade with a friend and it went through fine.

So it's more than likely on their end? At least it's not me.

If it's only happening with one specific user, then something fishy is happening on their end.
