Can i Refund The Base Game and keep the dlc

I wanna buy the sims 3 world adventures but i don’t have the steam version of the base game so i’m wondering if i can buy both and refund the steam version of the Base Game and keep the expansion

You'll have the DLC on your account if you purchased it separately but the DLC won't transfer to Origin.

If you ask for a refund, it will be for the whole package, not a part of it. So no, you can't.

Steam don't sell serial keys, only third party websides getting them from the developper, plus these key won't work in Origin if they are meant to be activated in Steam, you'll have to search for an Origin key.

But if you purchased the 1 package, game+DLC, you will end up refunding the entire thing if you request one.
