Bought a Steam Gift Card but not showing in gift inventory?

I bought a Steam Gift Card for someone on Steam and sent it through Steam. It says it should show up in gift inventory so I can see if they redeemed it or not, but it does not show up anywhere.

I realize this is over 2 years old but I literally just did the same thing, and I see there was no response to this, no resolution, and no response from Steam (here).

THANK you! Not surprised it's buried like that but yeah, it's under transaction history, not inventory like Steam says it is... linked, in the email they send right after you make the purchase.
