Can't change profile privacy settings [solved]

Solution: Under 'My privacy settings' change 'My profile:' to Public, of it is already public, select private and then public again. (Thanks =JgF=ArmoredMedic )

Original post:

No matter what wifi I am connected to, no matter what device or browser, it will always fail to save when I try to adjust the privacy settings on my profile page. It says "there was a problem saving your changes. Please try again later".

It's no use trying to adjust the browser since it happens everywhere on all devices and browsers. Must be a problem with my account specifically right? Can anyone help?

Same here, I've been trying for more than a week in steam client, browsers and steam android. I can't change anything on that privacy page.

Found the solution! Change the global setting next to 'my profile' and then the other settings will also work.
