Steam store laggy and unuseable

Logged on to steam today, steam store is supper laggy and unresponsive.
Trying to click on games in the sale and it takes up to a minute before the page finally changes to the games page, and sometimes all i get is a black screen instead of a game page. Tried the lan auto settings fix and clearing the webbrowser cache. Still super slow.

Any help would be appreciated. Sorry if this is in the wrong section.

Perhaps you missed the influx of threads.

I think you people forget what Summer Sale means. It means everyone is browsing the stores and causing a massive load on the steam servers thus slowing down loading speed. It happens every sale and I don't know how people still don't know this.
