bought a key from g2a saying its an EU key, when i activated it said RU next to the game.

Can i still play this game, and will steam ban me? if so, what do i do?

The code worked fine, I still havent played the game so I dont know if its in russian. Can anyone please help me? I really don't want a ban, i've spent a lot of money on this account.

The RU version may not work.

No.

You may only have account restrictions if you use a VPN to activate codes from other countries.

No idea which game you bought, but if your are unlucky the game is only in russian, as some ru locked games only contain the language files for there, and are not bilingual.

if it is only in russian, ill demand a chargeback and avoid the site from now on. most of my games have been purchased from that site and cdkeys, never had a problem. this is my first one.

1. Stop multiposting!
2. Remove the regional game license from your account and buy a new game license, this time from a legit reseller or from Steam directly. There's a sale tomorow, you can grab the game for cheap then!
3. Issue a chargeback. The vendor screwed you over, you're within your right to issue a chargeback request.

No, if it is a Russian only version of the game, the key works as intended. Steam can't and won't do anything (especially since Valve has nothing to do with keys that you buy).
