Google your router + port forwarding.

It varies per router.

Google is your friend.

First of all, port-forwarding is done on a router -- if your box is "directly" connected, no port forwards are possible/necessary. Port *forwards* instruct a router to send incoming data to some box in your network -- but if your box already receives all the data, where should it forward it to?

"Outside of my house" suggests that you have some form of mobile connection, so most likely there is no router (of yours) involved.

Also, running a server requires that you have a public IP-address -- basically, a phone number that other people can actually call.

Many mobile ISPs, and to some extent even regular ISPs, have started to not give public addresses to their customers, due to IPv4 addresses being scarce. Using the phone comparison, you might have a phone that you can use to dial out, but there is no number to reach it from the outside.

In such a case, port-forwarding does nothing because data can't reach your box.

You have explained yourself jsut fine, now you need to read. You were told to forwards ports on your router. Thats what you need to do.

nah i meant where tf do i put the numbers? he didnt explain he just said "here are the values for forwarding" or something and i didnt know i had to put the numbers like (start of port: 0000 end of port: 0000, start of port: 0001 end of port: 0001 like the numbers are the same i thought u had to use different numbers in the start and end port, its hard to explain what i mean but i figured it out so all good
Step 1: Open CMD and type Ipconfig.

Step 2: Find the Gateway Address in CMD.

Step 3: Copy the address and paste it into your browser.

Step 4: Login to your router. The password and user should be default (Unless it has been changed) which are the following:

Username: Admin
Password: Admin

or

Username: Username
Password: Password

If it is none of the above, look on the actual router for details on how to login to your router.

Step 5: Once logged in go find a page that says port fowarding. It will be in there somewhere.

Step 6: Once on the portfowarind page you should see something along the lines of this: https://i.imgur.com/NbVmOyz.png

Step 7: In CMD where you got the gateway address you will also need to get your pc address called IPv4 Address. Copy your IPv4 Address and paste it into the internal host box.

You will now need the addresses you mentioned here:

UDP 47998, 47999, 48000

This gets a tiny bit complicated. You will need to make a new rule for each address.

Starting with the first one: 35043 put that into both internal port and external port and make sure you have TCP selected. Once you have that name your rule so moonlight. Then save it. Do that again for each and every one of those.

With the UDP you do the same but select UDP instead of TCP. There may even be a option to use both. If there is it will say something like this: TCP - UDP. If that option exists use that instead of one or the other.

I hope that helps :D

You "put" the numbers in your router's UI. As for start/end, thats just a range. If youre to forward (in example) ports from 1 to 10, you can makr an entry for each one, 1, 2, 3, and so on or forward the whole range at once, 1-10.
