Restoring Games, but need a product code?
I have recently reset my pc, before I did so I backed up some of my games!
However, I am trying to restore them, but it is asking for a product key? Not sure why as they are all bought on steam/gifted and I checked them before I did a clean of my pc.

I'm not at my computer so can't tell exactly. But when you select a game in the library, on the right hand side of the client there is a list of options, store, discussions etc, there will be an option to get the key there

Which games want a product key? Games with additional DRM?

Are you sure you're restoring them to the same Steam account that created the backup?

Are they using Uplay? If so, download the latest launcher from Uplay.

They are from my steam games list, not using Uplay.. I have no idea what DRM is haha

Run Steam as an administrator and then try again.
